Norway-based Lund+Slaatto Architects have designed a small, waterfront modern cabin that sits on the edge of a rocky site in Østfold, Norway. The exterior of the wooden cabin is clad with cedar timber. The windows are partially covered with wood. Inspired by the surrounding rocky coastal landscape, the interior was designed with different levels to create division between different functional areas.
The main building houses an open kitchen and living room with direct access to the outdoor deck. The bedroom is located in an annex connected to the main cabin via a cedar wood terrace.
