North London-based design studio Raw-Edges have designed the Sugar stool. The simple yet interesting design of the stool features a cushion that is clamped onto wooden legs. The resulting shape looks like a wrapped sugar candy, hence the name “Sugar”.

From the designers, “Inspired by rolled up jumper sleeves, we combined a variety of Kvadrat textiles in order to create a happy and fun looking stool. Celebrating simplicity it triggers the idea that odd-looking, unfamiliar shapes still achieve functionality: invisible, its inner structure gives us the impression it would collapse when sat on. Initially designed for ‘The Picnic’ Kvadrat stand, the production of ‘Kenny’ was later taken for production by Moroso.”
