Mexican design student Eduardo Altamirano has created a prototype of a knockdown sling chair that fits in an airline luggage bag. Design of the chair was inspired by Don Shoe Maker, Luis Barragan, Po shun furniture, among others. The chair combines the designer’s Mexican cultural background with Swedish design where he currently resides and studies. The Sling chair is made of white washed birch wood, pink wool and brass nails. The upholstery is done by Johanna Björling.
