Japanese architect and designer Taeg Nishimoto has created a series of side tables called im Wald. The unique side table features transparent legs and differently sided disk tops finished in black. The design is an “exploration on the making of visual as well as the tactile texture of transparent plastic and its effect.”
The legs are made of two types of plastic, a heat-resistant polyester sheet, and heat-responsive PETG tube. The table top disks are made of MDF with the diameters of 18cm, 23cm, 28cm and 33cm.
