German architectural practice Büros für Konstruktivismus converted an old, post-WW2 chicken house into a brand new artist studio. The chicken house is located in Berlin, near a villa from the 1930s. The architects have retained the building’s slightly decayed and ruinous exterior looks and only renovated the interiors.
The new interior of the chicken house is finished entirely in wood. The original chimney and existing steel beam also covered with wood. A new mezzanine with wooden staircase is added.
