Australian practice Branch Studio Architects have designed a family retreat located in Balnarring, Victoria. The interior of the retreat features multifunctional design that can switch from one function to another within minutes. It can be a full functioning private residence, a knitting studio, a reading room and a weekend party place with the neighbors and friends.
The south wall of the retreat contains a fold-away bed with a desk, book shelves, storage area and also houses an air conditioner. East wall has a series of flaps that unfold and become a long table. The west wall houses kitchen, main work desk and a hidden door to the bathroom.
